Creating an Efficient On-Field BP Routine – Brian Roper, Midland Lee HS1 Creating an Efficient On-Field BP Routine – Brian Roper, Midland Lee HS 49:46Brian Roper is a veteran baseball coach with 26 years of head coaching experience in both Texas High School baseball as well as Texas Junior College baseball.� He has amassed over 750 wins during his career while coaching at Ralls High School, Howard College, Blinn College, and Midland Lee High School.� Roper is a Houston native and a graduate of Bellaire High School where he played for the late Ray Knoblauch.� Roper attended Texas Tech University on a baseball scholarship where he was a three year starting catcher for the Red Raiders while playing for his mentor Larry Hays.� He was drafted by and played for the Texas Rangers organization following his senior campaign.� Roper has a unique perspective on coaching due to his experiences as a player,�coach,�and father at different levels of the game of baseball.
